Welcome to Mainely Mystics. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of mainelymystics.org and your purchase or booking of services from Jill Smith, operating as Mainely Mystics (“Mainely Mystics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, booking a service, or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms:

1.SERVICES

Mainely Mystics offers Intuitive Guidance and tarot readings, Mediumship Connections, Soul Coaching, Private Event consultations, and customized Private Event services. Service availability, pricing, duration, format, and descriptions may change at any time.

Services may be provided by phone, video or in person when available. The location or connection instructions for your session will be provided during booking or in your confirmation communications..

2.AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be at least 18 years old to book or receive services unless advance written permission and participation from a parent or legal guardian have been arranged.

3.BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Appointments must be booked in advance through the approved online scheduling system or directly with Mainely Mystics.

Full payment is due when booking a regular session. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, and Mainely Mystics does not directly store complete credit or debit card information.

An appointment is not confirmed until the booking process and any required payment have been completed.

4.CANCELLATIONS, RESCEDULING, AND REFUNDS

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a regular session.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments are nonrefundable.

Clients who arrive late may receive a shortened session so that later appointments can begin on time. The full session price will still apply.

If Mainely Mystics must cancel an appointment, the client may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

5.PRIVATE EVENTS

A complimentary consultation may be scheduled to discuss a Private Event. Event dates are not reserved by completing a consultation alone.

Private Events require payment in full to secure the agreed date unless different terms are stated in a written proposal or agreement. Event-specific details including location, travel, timing, guest count, services, cancellation terms, and other requirements will be provided in writing. If an event agreement conflicts with these general terms, the event agreement will control for that event.

6.SPIRITUAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT DISCLAIMER

Intuitive Guidance, tarot, Mediumship, and Soul Coaching are offered for personal insight, spiritual exploration, and personal development. They are not substitutes for licensed medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatments.

Soul Coaching is not psychotherapy or crisis care. Mainely Mystics does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact an appropriate licensed professional or emergency service.

Mediumship and intuitive work are interpretive and personal in nature. Mainely Mystics cannot guarantee specific messages, evidence, results, predictions, outcomes, or contact with a particular person in Spirit.

You remain solely responsible for your choices, decisions, actions, and outcomes following any session or service.

7.CLIENT CONDUCT

Clients agree to communicate respectfully and provide accurate booking information. Mainely Mystics may end or refuse a session or event because of threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, intoxicated, unsafe, or disruptive conduct. Refund eligibility in such circumstances will be determined based on the situation and applicable law.

8.WEBSITE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the text, articles, photographs, graphics, branding, service descriptions, downloads, and other original content on this website belong to Mainely Mystics and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and share links to public website content for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, modify, republish, or commercially use website content without prior written permission.

9.THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

This website may use or link to third-party services, including Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling, payment processors, video platforms, social-media platforms, and external websites. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Mainely Mystics is not responsible for the content, availability, security, policies, or actions of an independently operated third-party service.

10.PRIVACY

Personal information submitted through this website or the booking system will be handled as described in the Mainely Mystics Privacy Policy.

By using the website or booking a service, you consent to the collection and use of information necessary to respond to inquiries, process bookings and payments, provide services, and communicate about your appointment.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mainely Mystics will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or services.

If Mainely Mystics is found liable for a claim connected to a purchased service, total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these terms excludes any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We work to keep the website and scheduling system accurate and available,but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. We may correct errors, update information, change offerings, or temporarily suspend website features when necessary.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction in Maine.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These terms may be updated when services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
